The Rooted in Nature Stamp Set celebrates nature and everything in it. It includes nature-inspired images with all occasion greetings. It also have a coordinate set of dies.
I used the Rooted in Nature Stamp Set to create today’s card. I was looking for a simple and masculine card and this stamp set can create some amazing manly cards! I don’t have anyone in mind for this card so I left the sentiment off. I can always add it to the inside of the card.
To create the leaves for the tree, I put a couple of drops of our re-inkers (Cherry Cobbler, Pumpkin Pie and Old Olive) on an acrylic block (5″ x 6″) and spritzed it with water until they blended. After it was dried I stamped the tree image with Early Espresso Ink to give it more of a crisp look. I also added a layer of Early Espresso Cardstock to make the image pop.
