In this blog post, we’ll spotlight the “Trucking Along” bundle, dressed in pink, as a powerful symbol of support for Breast Cancer Month. Join us as we celebrate the strength and resilience of those affected by breast cancer and the community coming together for a vital cause.
This idea has been in my head a couple of days now – to make a pink truck with a flowery pumpkin in the back in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. I’ve lost a step-mother, step-sister, Aunt and a sister-in-law to this dreadful disease. As painful as it is, I get a mammogram every year and I hope you do to.
I used the Delightfully Eclectic Designer Series Paper (DSP) for the background. The two patterns are both sides of one sheet. To make the background pop, I layered it with Garden Green and then used the Thick Basic White Cardstack as the base card.
The truck image is a two step stamp set. I first stamped the lined image with Tuxedo Black and then stamped the solid image with Bubble Bath Ink. After punching out the image, I adhered it to the circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The ground image was stamped with Gray Granite and fussy cut with our Paper Snips. The small pumpkin in the back of the truck was downloaded from the internet and printed out on the floral pattern. I then fussy cut it with our Paper Snips and then added it to the back of the truck with a Stampin’ Dimensional. The sentiment was stamped with Tuxedo Black and adhered with Adhesive Strps.
The small pumpkins are from an image from the Pick of the Patch Bundle. They were stamped with Bubble Bath Ink and the stems with Crumb Cake Ink. I used the floral pattern from the same DSP for the envelope flap.
