Prized Peony in Fresh Freesia

Give your projects a graceful touch using the gorgeous Prized Peony Stamp Set and Peony Dies. This set makes amazingly beautiful floral cards and several warm greetings. I paired it with one of the sheets of paper from the retired Sale-a-bration Penguin Playmates Designer Series Paper. Update: After I hit publish, I noticed that the card has a stampin’ dimensional that should not be there!😁

Card Measurements:

1. Base card: Basic White Thick Cardstock 11″ x 4 1/4″
2. Next layer: Fresh Freesia Cardstock 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″
3. Strip of DSP: Penguin Playmates Designer Series Paper 5 1/4″ x 2 1/4″
4. Strip of CS: Fresh Freesia Cardstock 5 1/4″ x 1/8″
5. Panel: Basic White Cardstock: 5 1/4″ x 3 1/8″
6. Sentiment: Basic White Thick Cardstock 2″ x 2″
7. Floral Image: Basic White Cardstock: 4″ x 3″

What I did:

1. Take basic card and fold in half using a Bone Folder for a sharper crease.
2. Adhere the next layer to the card with our Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
3. Attach strip of DSP to left side of card front with liquid glue.
4. Emboss the front panel with the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder
5. Add to the front of the card with liquid glue.
6. Using liquid glue, adhere strip of CS to front of card (see card for placement).
7. Stamp floral image with Basic Gray Ink.
8. Color in floral image with the Fresh Freesia Stampin’ Blends Markers. Color in the leaves and stems with the Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Write Marker.
9. Die cut using the coordinating die from the Peony Dies.
10. Attach to the front of the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
11. Die cut sentiment using the Painted Labels Dies.
12. Stamp sentiment on die cut. Note: I found it easier to die cut first and the stamp in sentiment.
13. Add rhinestones from the retired Noble Peacock Rhinestones.
14. Attach ribbon twine.
