Today’s card features the gorgeous Poinsettia Petals Bundle – it was cased from a card I saw on Pinterest. I changed it up a little to make it my own.
I use the 3 poinsettia images from the set and stamped them on Whisper White Thick Cardstock with Soft Suede Ink. I also stamped the leaves and berries using the same ink and yardstick. All images were then die cut using the coordinating dies. I then lightly sponged all the images with Soft Suede Ink and our Sponge Daubers. The cyathia or the center of the flower was colored in using the retired Gold Wink of Stella. To give the background panel some textured I embossed it with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder.
Card Measurements:
- Base Card: Soft Suede Cardstock 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″. Fold in half with the Bone Folder for a sharp crease.
- Background Panel: Whisper White Cardstock 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″.
- Center Panel: Poinsettia Place DSP 4 1/8″ x 2″.
- Center Panel: Soft Sude Cardstock 4 1/2″ x 1 7/9″.
- Scrap pieces for images: Whisper White Thick Cardstock
