Sail Away

The Sail Away Stamp Set reminds me so much of when David and I would sail between Oxnard Harbor and the Channel Islands. Usually it would be a weekend trip (spend the night at one of the coves in the islands) but sometimes we would spend one week sailing around the Channel Islands. Best time of my life! This stamp set is part of the Come Sail Away Suite Bundle.… Read More »

Rachel’s Bunnies

I bought this about a month ago and forgot I had it so I have to make one more bunny card. This card is for my granddaughter, Rachel and I hope she likes it. It is a non-SU die set and all those little pieces were die cut and then carefully adhered to the card. I used a mixture of items from different companies including Stampin’ Up! (card stock). I… Read More »

Beautiful Friendship Fancy Fold Card

The Beautiful Friendship Stamp Set is another favorite from the annual catalog that is always over looked. It makes the most beautiful cards! Since this was such a quick card, I decided to try the Fancy Fold technique. I paired it with the gorgeous Noble Peacock Speciality Designer Series Paper. This DSP is also overlooked and can make some beautiful backgrounds or accent pieces (as shown above). The greeting is… Read More »

Thank you Angie

Thought I would take a break from my usual cards and create a card for my niece, Angie, who is a nurse in Southern California. I am so proud of her and want to thank her and all the individuals in health care who are making extraordinary sacrifices during this crisis. This is a digital image I bought on the internet. The greeting was created using my computer. I used… Read More »

This Little Piggy

Today’s card features the This Little Piggy Stamp Set from the Annual Catalog. It’s one of the cuter whimsical images from the catalog. The image and greetings were stamped with Gray Granite Classic Ink. I then added Clear Emboss Powder and set it with the Heat Gun. Forgetting the ink is water based, I stamped with the ink and then tried coloring it in with an Aqua Painter. The outline… Read More »
