An Egg-cellent Easter
I made these holders for my grandchildren, David 10, Felicia 8 and Rachel 2 1/2. I bet you can guess who will receive which candy holder. They are like the ones I made for Teacher Appreciation Week. After making the 1st two candy holders, the next 3 went pretty fast. I didn't really want to give the kids candy (or a lot of candy) so I thought the Hershey bars… Read More »
You’ve been tagged!
New crazy game of tag. You get tagged, pick the 6th folder in your photo gallery, pick the 6th picture in that folder, add to your blog with a description. This picture was taken about a month ago. If the grandkids maintain good grades (A's & B's) through the semester, we celebrate by taking them out to dinner (restaurant of their choosing). This time they chose the Red Lobster. So… Read More »
Teacher Treats
Today's post includes two candyholders I made for my grandchildren to take to their teachers since it is Teacher Appreciation Week. I cannot remember where I got the template for this box, but it was about a week ago. Sorry I cannot give credit to the original owner. I had to modify the box (made it larger) because the candy I bought (Hershey Bars) did not fit into the original box. … Read More »
Age Happens
It's time again for the Emerson girls! I love these images! They are by Emerson and are from the American Art Stamp website. At least, that where I buy them because they have a large selection. I know that they are also available at Hobby Lobby but they only have two or three of them and for the last couple of years, it's been the same three. The image was… Read More »

Computer generated sentiments
I don't have a card to share today because my granddaughter is with me all day and she's 2 1/2 years old. Need I say more? Anyhoo, I thought I'd share a tip on generating a sentiment on the computer. As you may have noticed, a lot of my cards have computer generated sentiments because either I don't have the sentiment or I don't like the style of sentiment that I have… Read More »

Fifth Avenue Flower
It's a cold and windy day and this card is just perfect for this type of day. You can't get more cheerful than a bright yellow card, can you? I cheated a little and did not use all SU products (gasp!!). I wanted this ribbon for the card – the black gingham I had from SU did not look as good so I went with the organdy ribbon.
