Summer Afternoon – Petite Purse

Hi Stampin' Friends It's a beautiful weekend in Northwest Arkansas.  I hope you are having pleasant weather. It's been such a nice spring this year. Well, I finally finished the petite purse – not that it was that hard to make but I had to redo it a couple of times because I kept making dumb mistakes.  The ladies will be making the purse at Jane's private class on Monday… Read More »

Sneak Peek – Summer Afternoon

Hi Stampin' Friends I was a bad girl and gone for most of the day so I didn't get a chance to finish up the petite purse 3D project.  I do have a card to show you that the ladies will be making at the Big Shot Class on Friday, 25 May 2012.  I again used the Comfort Cafe DSP (love, love it!!!) and the Hostess Stamp Set called Summer… Read More »

I would love it if they brought back Blushing Bride and Pear Pizzazz – I love those colors! ~~Rachel Retiring In Colors May 17, 2012 As you know, the 2010-2012 In Colors will retire at the end of the month. It's hard to believe that it's already time to say goodbye to Blushing Bride, Concord Crush, Peach Parfait, Pear Pizzazz, and Poppy Parade! We announced in 2010 during the last… Read More »

Sneak Peek – Layered Labels and Comfort Cafe DSP

Hi Stampin' Friends I am so excited to be able to show you some gorgeous new designer series paper called Comfort Cafe.  It is absolutely beautiful and reminds me of my grandmother! I am also working on 3D project (Petite Purse Bigz L Die) that goes with the card, but I didn't finish it in time for today's post.  I'll have it ready for tomorrow's post. The sentiment is layered… Read More »

The perfect summer job

Hi Stampin' Friends Imagine an ad that reads like this: Wanted – someone who wants to make their own hours, determine their own income, and work around their family and other activities while working with great people and having fun helping them to create their own handmade cards and scrapbooks (and sometimes while enjoying snacks!). This candidate will receive all the free training and support that they need, including lots… Read More »

In-color charts (2012/2013)

Hi ladies: Thought you might like the 2012/2013 in-color charts.  I did not make the charts but am passing them along.   These are modeled after the charts made a few years ago at convention – probably when we had the color renovation.  Print out on Whisper White card stock.  Then the first square punch a square of card stock, the second square scribble the marker – I did both ends,… Read More »

Adios Faith in Nature

Hi Stampin' Friends! It's time to say goodbye to the  Faith in Nature Stamp Set.  I've always liked this stamp set because of its simplicity.  I decided to make two cards using two of images in the set.  I used the pear in one coloring it with the So Saffron Stampin' Write Marker for the pear and Pear Pizzazz Stampin' Write Marker for the leaves. I also used the Framed… Read More »

Layered Labels

Hi Stampin' Friends I am so excited to give you a sneak peek at one of the new stamp sets from the 2012/2012 Catalog!  It's called Layered Labels.  And no I did not have to cut it out because there is a corresponding package of dies called Framelits, Apothecary Accents.    The dies in this group were designed to cut images from World Treasures (another new stamp set) and the… Read More »
