Country Home

Today’s card features the Country Home Stamp Set.   The images in this set remind me of countryside, lemonade, and dried flowers. I used the Gala Gingham DSP Paper Stack (retired) to give the impression of an old table cloth – perfect setting for the milk can or jug. I also used the Country Floral Embossing Folder to contrast with the gingham stripes.  The images were colored using the Crumb Cake,… Read More »

Nature’s Beauty

Today’s post showcases the beautiful Nature’s Beauty Cling Stamp Set from the Holiday Catalog.  I was inspired by a card I saw on Facebook because of it’s simplicity.  I changed a couple of things such as the background and the greeting.  I also added a cotton ball to the rabbit’s tail! For the background, I used the Woodland Embossing Folder.  The greeting is from the retired Greetings Thinlits Dies. I… Read More »

Ten Reasons You Want the Starter Kit Now!

I don’t think I make any secret of the fact that joining Stampin’ Up was one of the best things I have ever done! Like so many demonstrators I originally signed up for the fantastic 20% net discount we automatically receive on all orders. My business has evolved however from simply buying products for my own enjoyment, then selling a little to friends, to where I am today; with a growing… Read More »

Boo to You

Today’s card features the adorable Boo to You Stamp Set.  The images are a werewolf, Frankenstein and a zombie. I used one of Angie Juda’s box template to create this Halloween trick or treat box.  The only change I made was to make the box shorter. These guys are so adorable that I will be using this stamp set a lot!  The image was stamped with Black Tuxedo Ink onto… Read More »

Nature’s Beauty

Today’s card features the Nature’s Beauty Stamp Set.  For every stamp set sold, Stampin’ Up! will donate $3.00 towards mental health organizations. I began by sponging the background in a non-SU item (panpastels), I added the leaves (from Very Versailles Stamp Set) in Mossy Meadow Ink and stamped the grass (from Nature’s Beauty Stamp Set) in the same color. The deer was stamped with Early Espresso Ink and then fussy… Read More »

About a sneak peek.  The new Holiday Catalog is full of so many cute projects along with the stamps to create them.  For today’s post, I selected the Monster Bash Designer Series Paper as the focal point because I think it’s adorable! I just love the images on this page of the DSP.  I fussy cut them out using our amazing Paper Snips.  They were added to the front panel… Read More »

Back on Your Feet

Today’s post showcases the adorable Back on Your Feet Stamp Set.  I absolutely love this set and I’m usually a flowers girl so that says a lot!
