Occasions Alphabet

Hi Stampin’ Friends

Hope you had a wonderful weekend.  It was quiet around here which is exactly the way I like it.  I watched a movie called “Seeking a Friend for the End of the World”.  I’ve always liked Steve Carell and thought it would be funny but it was beautiful and sad.  Of course, I had to download my two favorite songs from that movie called “This Guy’s in Love with You” and “The Air That I Breathe”.

I used the Occasions Alphabet Clear Mount Stamp Set for today’s card.  This double-mounted, twenty-six piece set is a goldmine of sentiments -suitable for almost any occasion! From “A is for Apology, I’m so sorry about that” to “Z is for Zip, wish I had done that to my lips”- and everything in between. You’ll never be at a loss for words!

tagI am not happy with this card because there is too much room at the top of the tag.  I meant to put the button lower on the tag but forgot (don’t know how) and didn’t even notice it until after it was completed!  I need to either add something at the top of the sentiment or make another card and raise the sentiment so that it’s in the middle of the tag.  What do you think?  Any suggestions?

platformI used the new Chalk Talk Framelits Dies for the tag.  It is so easy to use because of my new BFF, the Magnetic Platform!  I had it at class last week and several of the ladies ordered – it is a must have if you own a Big Shot!
