For today’s card, I am using the Lazy Days Stamp Set Bundle from Stampin’ Up! Lazy days are the best days when you share them with a loved one! The Lazy Days Stamp Set is the perfect way to take some time off and create something special for a friend, say thank you, or wish happy birthday. This set includes a variety of sentiments and artwork that can be used alone or paired together for more versatility.
I just spent 9 exciting and awesome days in California visiting my daughter, friends and family. I am ready to “do nothing” except make cards😊😊😊 The next week will be my “lazy days”
I sponged the background with Balmy Blue Ink and a cloud template. I then die cut a victorian portico (or trellis) from the Lazy Days Dies. Please Note: Before die cutting, I attached a strip of the foam sheet adhesive because I felt adding dimensions would not work. All the other stamp images were adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The rocking chair, small table and leaves in a pot were stamped with Pebble Path Ink. They were then colored in with Light Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends Marker for the chair, table and pot. I colored the leaves with the light Old Olive Stampin’ Blends Marker. I stamped the rug with Balmy Blue Ink and die cut it with the coordinating die. To create the chair pad, I first stamped the rug in Balmy Blue ink and then light stamped the chair over that. I then fussy cut the chair pad.
