Hi my Stampin’ Friends
I always favor sailing-themed stamp sets because my husband and I used to sail when we lived in California. When we left California for Arkansas, we sold our 38-ft Choy Lee and bought a 30-ft sailboat in Arkansas when we lived at Lost Bridge Village on Beaver Lake. But it wasn’t the same, and I gave it up. My husband continued to try sailing for a while but eventually gave it up too.

For today’s post, I am using the Sunrise Sailing Bundle. I stamped the sailboat image in Tuxedo Black Ink and colored the hull with Real Red Stampin’ Blends. I then cut it with the coordinating die from the Sunrise Sailing Dies. The clouds were cut from Basic White Thick Cardstock, sponged lightly with our Blending Brushes and Balmy Blue Ink, and attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The seagull die cuts were created from coordinating dies and Basic Black Cardstock. The sentiment was stamped with Tuxedo Black Ink and cut using the Stylish Shapes Dies.

The base card is Basic White Thick Cardstock. Layer #1 is Real Red Cardstock, and Layer #3 is Misty Moonlight Cardstock which was embossed with the Sailing Sunrise Hybrid Embossing Folder. Layer #4 is Real Red Cardstock, and Layer #5 is Misty Moonlight Cardstock, cut using the Deckled Rectangle Dies and also embossed with the Sailing Sunrise Hybrid Embossing Folder. All layers were adhered with our Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

The inside of the card was layered with Real Red Cardstock and Basic White Cardstock. I stamped the sea image with Misty Moonlight Ink at the bottom of the Basic White Cardstock. I also stamped the envelope flap with the same image and in the same color.
