Nature’s Harvest – a Fun Card to Make

Fun with the Nature’s Harvest Bundle by Stampin’ Up! I used to think cone flowers came in only pink but I’ve learned since that they come in yellow, pink and purple. For today’s card, I’m making it yellow cone flowers because it reminds me of fall. I paired it with Cajun Craze and So Succulent, two of my favorite colors for Autumn.

Card Measurements:

1. Base card: Soft Succulent Cardstock 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″
2. Layer1: Cajun Craze Cardstock 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″
3. Layer2: Basic White Cardstock 5 1/4″ x 4″
4. Front Panel: Harvest Meadow Designer Series Paper 4″ x 2″
5. Cone Flowers: Basic White Thick Cardstock 4″ x 3″
6. Sprig: Cajun Craze Cardstock 5 1/4″ x 2″
7. Sentiment: Basic White Thick Cardstock 2 1/2″ x 2

What I did:

1. Take base card and fold in half using a Bone Folder for a sharper crease.
2. Adhere layer 1 to base card with the Multipurpose Liquid Glue
3. Emboss layer 2 with the Tasteful Texture 3D Embossing Folder and attach to the card..
4. Die cut sprig and adhere to the front of the DSP panel
5. Stamp flower image with Black Tuxedo and color in using the following colors:
   • Bumble Bee for the petals
   • Cinnamon Cider for the disk (center of flowers)
   • Soft Succulent for the stems and leaves
6. Die cut colored flowers and attach to the front of the DSP panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
7. Tie white ribbon around DSP panel
8. Add colored twine by making a bow
9. Adhere DSP panel to front of the card with our liquid glue.
10. Stamp sentiment and die cut using the retired Stitched So Sweetly Dies. Attach to front of card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
