Nature Walk

By | May 2, 2011

Hi Stampers

Opener
Today's card features the Nature Walk Stamp Set.  It was in the Occasions Mini Catalog and I hope it makes into the 2011/2012 Idea Book and Catalog because it's one of my favorite sets.

Nature-Walk-May-2011 copy
The floral image was colored in using the Garden Green and Pacific Point Stampin' Write Markers and stamped on Whisper White Card Stock.  It was then embossed with the Tulips Framed Embossing Folder.   This embossing folder is being carried over into the new Idea Book & Catalog – WHOOHOO!!!The bird was stamped with the Pacific Point Classic ink  on Whisper White Card Stock and cut out using Paper Snips.  It was adhered to the front right above the pinking hearts border using Stampin' Dimensionals.

The pattern paper below the ribbon is the Beyond the Garden Designer Series Paper from the 2011/2012 Idea Book and Catalog.  It will be available on 1 July 2011.

Rachel's Tip:  When cutting out an image such as the bird above, you can stabilize the paper by adding scotch tape to the back.  It reinforces the small thin areas such as the tail, legs and feet of the bird.

Thanks for stopping by today

~~Rachel
