Hi Stampin’ Friends
We went out to dinner to celebrate David selling his sailboat. Of course, I’ll go out to dinner anytime, any excuse! My sweater matches one of our new colors called Strawberry Slush. When I bought it, I immediately thought that looks like “Strawberry slush!”. The girls laugh when we go into town to go shopping because when I see a color, I saw that’s Elegant Eggplant or Baja Breeze. Do you think in Stampin’ Up! colors?
And for today’s card I used Strawberry Slush! I love that name – it reminds me of Strawberry Margaritas, my favorite drink. I played around with the Mosaic Madness Stamp Set and came up with a simple cards. I made the card several times before I was happy with it. You wouldn’t think such a simple card would take longer than a frilly girly card but it did!
The images were stamped with Strawberry Slush Classic Ink and then punched with the coordinating Mosaic Punch. I love it when all you have to do is stamp the image and then be able to punch it out! The background was embossed using the coordinated Modern Mosaic Embossing Folder.
