I used the charming, cute Kindest Gnomes Bundle to create Christmas card for you today. I paired it with the retired Feels Like Frost 6″ x 6″ Specialty Designer Series Paper. I have so much pattern paper left over from previous catalogs and I’m trying to use it up! How do you use up your pattern paper so that it doesn’t accumulate?
This is what I did:
Gnome Image
- Stamped with Tuxedo Black Ink onto Basic White cardstock
- Colored in the hair with Mango Melody Stampin’ Blends
- Colored in the dress with Balmy Blue Stampin’ Blends
- Shoes were colored in using the Light Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends
- Face and hands filled in with the Ivory Stampin’ Blends
The image was then die cut using the retired Layering Ovals Dies. I also die cut a slightly larger piece (Night of Navy Cardstock) with the scallop die from the same set of dies.
The sentiment was stamped with Night of Navy Ink on a strip of Basic White Cardstock and trimmed. I added a strip of Metallic Mesh Ribbon to the center of the front panel. I also adhered a double bow using Silver Trim from the Simple Elegant Trim Package.
I die cut a gnome from the Storybook Gnomes Designer Series Paper using the coordinating die. The border at the bottom is the Feels Like Frost DSP.
I also used the Feels Like Frost DSP on the envelope flap.
Thanks for stopping by today – have a great weekend!
