Today’s card uses the Gnome for the Holidays Stamp Set Bundle from the Journey Holidays Mini Trends Catalog.
I have been wanting to make some plaid Christmas trees and I thought I would use this stamp set and change it to McGnome and make it a Scottish Christmas card. The trees were die cut from the Cozy Winter Prints using the Fresh Forest Dies.
The gnome image was stamped with Black Licorice Ink onto Whip Cream Card Stock and die cut using the Gnome for the Holidays Die. It was colored with our Journey Color Splash Watercolor Pencils. In order to get a darker color, I dampen the pencils with water and colored away!
