Hello my Stampin’ Friends
It’s really hard for me to come up with ideas or even make a masculine card. I think that it’s a very limited field when you are looking for stamps, pattern paper and even embellishments. Though I did read recently on facebook (I think) that men also appreciate flowers and/or ribbons on their cards. But what if they don’t! What do you think? Flowers for men? Yes or No.
For today’s card, I’m using the Forever Forest Stamp Set and Dies. With this stamp set, you can create your own forest! Use green ink pads for a lush forest or experiment with reds, yellows, and oranges. With the dies, you can cut evergreens, sky elements, boulders, and mountains for timeless crafts.
I was going to add more trees to the front of the card but can you believe a lost a couple of the smaller dies? Drop the whole thing from my craft table to the die cut machine and did find all of the dies. They will turn out eventually. I lost one of the pieces to the Stain Nicholas Bundle in December and just found it when I was looking for the tree dies.
Craft a ruggedly handsome card using the Forever Forest Stamp Set and Dies. Pairing it with sentiments from the Ink and Tiled Stamp Set, we’ve used Night of Navy and Crumb Cake to bring depth and character to our creation. The Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder was used to give the front more dimension.
Using Old Olive Ink, stamped a tree inside the card, with “Happy Birthday” in Night of Navy. To maintain cohesion, added a small tree to the front of the envelope.
