The Rooted in Nature Stamp Set and Nature’s Roots dies are just one of Stampin’ Up!’s many amazing sets that can be used for masculine cards and in this case, a masculine sympathy card.
Today’s card is for the son of my girlfriend from high school. He lost a close co-worker recently and I wanted to let him know I was thinking of him.
The background panel is Basic White Cardstock which was die cut with the Stitched Rectangle Dies and embossed with the Painted Texture Embossing Folder.
The front panel was (Basic White Cardstock) was first stamped with the script image from the retired Very Versailles Stamp Set. I then stamped the tree from the Rooted in Nature Stamp Set in Mossy Meadow Ink over the script.
Both front panels (Basic White and Mossy Meadow Cardstock) were die cut with the Stitched Rectangle Dies. The greeting is from the featured stamp set and was stamped with Mossy Meadow Ink and die cut with the same rectangle dies as the front panel. Below is the inside of the card – the sentiment is from the Timeless Tulips Stamp Set.
