It’s Masculine Monday and today’s post features a birthday card for my grandson, Troy.
For my grandson’s card, I’m using the A Good Man Stamp Set, the retired Glad Tidings Designer Series and the soon to be retired Pretty Peacock Cardstock. I’m sure I’ve told you that I absolutely love plaid and will use every one of the sheets in the 6 x 6 package. And as I mentioned yesterday, Pretty Peacock is one of the retiring In-Colors. If this is a favorite color, you should probably stock up before the retiring list gets out or at least get your list ready!

The image was stamped with Tuxedo Black and colored in using the following Stampin’ Blends:
- Blush Stampin’ Write Marker for the skin
- Light Pretty Peacock for the shorts
- Light Crumb Cake for the hat and ground
It was then die cut using the Stitched Layering Rectangle Dies. I then added a layer of Pretty Peacock Cardstock cut at 3″ x 2 3/4″
I used a strip of White Flax Ribbon (3 3/4″) to the back of the image panel and separated the ends with the Take Your Pick Tool.
I added a strip of the same plaid paper to the flap of the Basic White Envelope. The sentiment on the inside of the card was computer generated.
Thanks for stopping by today.
