Starting on 9 June 2014, I will be featuring masculine cards every Monday. This type of card is the hardest type of card for me to make. And yet, most of the people (relatives) I send cards to are males (grandsons, sons-in-law, nephews, brothers) so go figure!
This card is for my brother, Eddie who birthday this year falls on Father’s Day (15 June). I used the digital image from Counryside. The clear mount and wood mount is retired but not the digital download (whoohoo). I love this set because it’s perfect for masculine cards.
Most of the coloring was taken from the coordinating colors in the Fresh Prints Designer Series Paper Stack (retired) and was done via the My Digital Studio with their coloring tool. Colors I used were Real Red, Soft Suede, Coastal Cabana, Old Olive and Basic Gray.
The Frame is a non-SU framelits I’ve had for years – I like to use it for masculine cards.
