Magnificant Maple – Simple Sunday

By | August 16, 2014

Hope you are enjoying your weekend.  It’s beautiful around here – not too hot and definitely not too cold (LOL).

DSC03702Rachel joined us for coffee this morning.  She is usually not up this early but today’s her 1st float trip and her parents are picking her up in about 9 am.  Yes, she always has her nose in a kindle because she loves to read – just like her grandma!

I saw a couple of leaves turning yesterday and it reminded me of fall so I thought I would make a card using the Manificant Maple Stamp Brush Set.  We had it in wood mount but it retired last year.  Thank goodness for digital downloads – they never retire!

The leaves were added to the 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ Very Vanilla Card Stock.  I made them different sizes and then scattered them around the front of the card.  I then colored them in using the coloring tool in My Digital Studio.  The colors used were Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, Rich Razzleberry and Crushed Concord.  I also used the splatter tool in Cherry Cobbler for the upper left side of the card.

The Thank You sentiment is from the Day of Gratitude Stamp Brush Set and was added in Cherry Cobbler.  The base card is Cherry Cobbler Card Stock.
