Lovely Flowers

By | July 5, 2009

Today's card was made using the sketch (SSC 106) from Stamping 411.  I used the stamp set from the Lovely Flowers Bundle, Level 3 Hostess Stamp Set.

I used a blender pen and the Mambo Mellon Classic Ink Pad because I wanted a lighter touch on the flowers and the markers was too dark.

I stamped the flower images on Whisper White card stock with Black Stazon.  I then colored in the flowers using a blender pen and Melon Mambo Classic Ink Pad.

I ran the Old Olive card stock (4 1/4 x 5 1/2) through the Big Shot using the Texturz Plates Backgrounds 1.  In order to make a deeper impression on the card stock, I lightly spritzed with water.  I set it aside to dry

I punched out three squares using the Scalloped Square PUnch from Melon Mambo Card Stock.  Next I punched out the flower images using the 1 1/4 square punch.  I rounded out the corners with the Small Corner Rounder Punch.  I attached the two layers together and set aside.

I cut a strip of Lovely Flowers Design Series Paper and punched the border using the Eyelet Border Punch.  I adhered all the layers together as shown in the picture.
