I think I can say I finally caught up with everything after my trip to leadership.  I think I did, anyway, okay, I haven't vacuumed or dusted as yet but I will before my class on Wednesday (LOL).

I've been experimenting with the Shimmer Paint spray and I think I got carried away with spraying the heart.  I didn't realize this until I took pictures of the card.  But it looks so beautiful in person that I hate to lay it aside.  Anyway, I'm trying to get ready for Tuesday's New Techniques class and have been experimenting with the ratio of alcohol to shimmer paint.

Isn't she pretty?  I just love the gold shimmer on the heart.  I used the Embosslits Scalloped Heart of Hearts die from the new Occasions Mini. 
As you can see by this picture, it looks like I over sprayed the heart with the Champaign Mist Shimmer Paint.

I used Gold Encore on the Fine Flourish ala carte stamp from the Occasions Min and stamped on Real Red card stock.

The next layer (Real Red card stock) was run through the Big Shot using the Finial Press Embossing Folder. 

The bottom layer (Basic Black card stock) was punched with the Pinking Hearts Border.  The sentiment is from the Well Scripted Stamp Set also from the Occasions Mini.

Now to get back to more experimenting with the shimmer paints – they are so much fun!
