It’s Your Day

Hi Stampers

Opener
It seems I've been making a lot of masculine birthdays lately but that's because February and March are full of male relatives birthdays.  In February, it's husband, son-in-law and two brothers.  In March, it's a nephew and two grandsons!  And my daughter's birthday is also in March.

Today's card is for my dear husband, David.  For his card, I used the Countryside Clear Mount Stamp set. and Happiest Birthday Wishes (hostess stamp set) for the sentiment.

Countryside
CountrysideThis stamp set reminds me of the countryside with of images reminiscent of simpler times. Their sketched look gives them a nostalgic feel perfect for calling up favorite memories and creating a country.

I paired it with the Letters to Santa Designer Series Paper.  I'm so glad I am able to use this paper outside of Christmas.  The plaid pattern papers in this series paper is perfect for masculine cards.

RibbonThe ribbon on the card is from the Holiday Mini catalog and is called Early Espresso 3/8" Quilted Satin Ribbon and is retired.

I used nestabilities for the image and layers under it.

Thanks for stopping by today!
