It’s Victoria again!

Hi Stampers

Opener
This image is from the Greeting Card Kids Stamp Brush Set Digital Download.  I mentioned that my granddaughter loves this stamp set and named the little girl with the valentine Victoria.  I have the actual stamp set but I also have the digital download and what I like about this is that I can re-size it which I did in this case.   I was going to paper piece her dress and bow and didn't want to work with such tiny pieces!

There's a little bit of new (embossing folder), current (digital image) and old (retired buttons) on this card.  The image was printed out using the My Digital StudioTIP:  I usually let the image set for a couple of hours before I start to color it – that way the ink doesn't smear.  The face, arms and legs were colored in using the Blush Blossom Stampin' Write Marker and her hair was colored in using the So Saffron Stampin' Write Marker.  The dress and bow are paper pieced using Blushing Bride from the In Color Patterns Designer Series Paper Stack.  The heart was colored in using the Blushing Bride Stampin' Write Marker.

The button is retired and was part of the Sherbet Buttons (can't remember the exact name).  The lace is the Chantilly 1/2" Crochet Trim.  I loosely threaded one strand of embroidery thread on one end of the crochet trim and then pulled it to form a circle.  I anchored both the lace and button to the card using Ecru Embroidery Thread.

The base card was embossed using the new Framed Tulips Textured Impressions Embossing Folder from the new Occasions Mini Catalog which will go live on 4 January 2010.  I love this new folder – I think it's going to be my "go to" folder – at least for a while!

Thanks for stopping by today.
