Christmas is definitely in the air. I’ve finished my Christmas cards (this is the last one), bought all the Christmas gifts (thank goodness for online), decorated my tree and planned the menu for Christmas Day. Left to do? Anxiously awaiting my puppy who will be here on or about 17 December. 🐶 She looks so much like my Sophie who I lost January 2020.
This card opens like a book – I got this idea and inspiration from the ever artistic, talented Mary Deathridge! I did change a couple of things to make it my own.
The background DSP is the Painted Christmas Designer Series Paper which will carry over and you can order when the new annual catalog comes out. YAY!!!
What I stamped and die cut:
- Pinecones: Solid image in Soft Suede and Line image in Early Espresso. Die cut with the coordinating die from the Seasonal Labels Dies.
- Berries: Cherry Cobbler and die cut with the coordinating die from the same die set as above.
- Leaves1: Old Olive and die cut from the coordinating die from the seasonal Labels Dies.
- Leaves2: Evening Evergreen and die cut from the coordinating die.
- Leaves3: Gold Foil Sheets and die cut from the Forever Flourishing Dies.
Here’s the template for scoring:
This is the inside of the card. I stamped the leaves in Evening Evergreen and Old Olive, the berries in Cherry Cobbler and the dots in Soft Suede.
Thanks for stopping by today and have a great weekend!
