Today’s card features the Free as a Bird Stamp Set from the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog. It will be retiring when the new catalog comes out (May 2022). This set includes a combination of sweet birds, flowers, branches and friend-centric greetings.
The bird images were stamped with Tuxedo Black Ink on Basic White Thick Cardstock. They were then colored in using the following Stampin’ Blends:
- Light Pool Party for the upper body
- Light Pink Petal for the front
- Light Granny Apple Green for the leaves
- Light and Dark Crumb Cake for the branch
- Light Petal Pink for the flowers
- Wink of Stella for the flowers
The image was then fussy cut with Paper Snips.
I used Friendly Hello Designer Series Paper for the side accent and envelope flap. The Painted Labels Die was used to die cut the side accent and adhered to the front panel. I also splattered Pool Party Ink to the front of the panel with the retired Color Spritzer Tool and the Pool Party Stampin’ Write Marker.
I used the Linen Thread to create the bow and Genial Gems Embellishments to complete the project.
