Fall is in the air

There is a slight chill in the air. do you feel it? FALL is here!  I  love fall – the crisp, cooler weather makes me think of pumpkins and spice, apple cider, and comfort food!  My favorite comfort food is Pumpkin Pie!  What is your favorite comfort food? 

I took a picture of the fall colors outside my  studio window this morning to show you how beautiful it can be this time of year.

 
I thought I was done with making Halloween projects, but I decided to make this last one so that my granddaughter could have an example to make some favors for her cousins who will be visiting next week from California.  I love the fact that both my granddaughters have become "BFF" via facebook and skype.  Felicia lives in Arkansas and Sydney lives in California so they don't visit each other often.  But somehow at 10 years old they have become "BFF"!

 
I used the window sheets and pillow box die cut and somehow ended up ruining my silicon rubber pad!  I inadvertently grabbed the silicon pad instead of the crease pad and now have a pillow box out of the silicon rubber pad!  What was I thinking!!!

The band around the pillow box is from the Wicked Fun Specialty Designer Series paper.  The sentiment  (from Tiny Tags) was stamped with Cajun Craze Classic Ink and punched out using the Jewelry Tags Punch.  I attached them to the Raven Lace Trim using a safety pin from the Vintage Trinkets collection.
