Hello my Stampin’ Friends!
Use the Storybook Friends stamps to add cute animals and messages to your cards and crafts! Make a baby card using rabbits, carrots, and “Welcome Little One.” Or create a friendly card with the hedgehog, rabbit wearing a bow tie, and “Hello Friend” message.
Start with a Basic White card base and emboss it with Eyelet 3D Embossing Foldr. This creates an elegant textured frame for your design.
Layer a piece of plaid patterned paper from the Timeless Plaid 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper (DSP) Crumb onto a thin Wild Wheat cardstock frame. The warm, cozy plaid adds a charming cottage feel to your card.
The focal point features a watercolored mouse with a pink bow sitting in a Daffodil Delight teacup decorated with small pink flowers. Place this sweet image inside an ornate die-cut white frame with decorative scrollwork and a crown detail at the top. Add dimension by embossing the oval background with tiny dots.
On the left side is the inside of the card. The garden scene is stamped with Pecan Pie Ink. Then the carrots were colored in with Pumpkin Pie and leaves colored in Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends.
On the right side, a coordinating envelope features the same plaid pattern on the envelope flap.
Finish the card by adding a banner at the bottom with “Hello Friend” stamped in Pecan Pie ink. The banner is angled for visual interest and ties the whole design together with its clean, simple look against the patterned background.
