In the end I decided to make a card for my beautiful daughter Stephanie. I can play after the card is made. (LOL)
Hearts A Flutter is more than just an image for a Valentine Card. I think’s it perfect for a Mother’s Day card and decided to use it for a ccard for my daughter, Stephanie.
My daughters are the complete opposite of each other as you can see by the card I made for my older daughter, Deena. Click here to view that card
The Primrose Petals is retiring this month – such a pretty color, I hope that it comes back next time Stampin’ Up! updates their color collection. Today, I used the card stock for the heart and the classic ink for the splatters from Gorgeous Grunge.
Tip:
When adding individual sequins to your card, it’s much earlier to add a dot (Tombow Adhesive) to where you want to add the sequin. You can then lay the sequin right on top of the dot. Too many times when I’ve added the glue to the back of the sequin, the sequin either falls and lands with the adhesive on the top or it falls somewhere else on the card.
I used the Fast Fuse Adhesive (new product when the catalog goes live) for the 1st time and I am in love! It’s as strong as the Sticky Strip we now carry!
