Today’s card was created in response to Challenge Sketch #11 from Kristina Rees. I used the Beautiful Moments Stamp Set with the greeting from the Blessings of Home Stamp Set. My BFF’s (since high school) birthday is coming up and I thought this would be the perfect card for her.
When you mind draws a blank and you are out of ideas, a sketch challenge may be for you to get your creative juices flowing. I find it easy to create a card when I following a sketch – it’s a lot easier (for me) than a color challenge.
I just love the color combination of the Bashful Blue, Mango Melody and Pear Pizzazz on this card. Using one of Stampin’ Up!’s designer series papers as a starting point makes it so easy when trying to figure out what colors to use on your card. They list the colors in the back of each package – so no guessing – I only wish they would enlarge the words for my “old” 👁👁!
