Today’s card is for my son-in-law, David. I used the Countryside Clear Mount Stamp Set. I love this set for its reminiscent of simpler times. My grandfather had a truck like this and every time he would start the truck, I’d run outside because I knew he was going somewhere and I loved riding in that truck.

I used the Naturals Collection Specialty Designer Series Paper for the background. The image was stamped with VersaMark and then embossed with Black Stampin’ Emboss Powder. I also used the Color Spritzer Tool on the background to give it an airbrush effect.

The ribbon is retired but it continues to be a favorite of mine. I own every color and did not sell them when they retired, just couldn’t let them go – I’ll use them up eventually. But, I would love to get my hands on some more of the Black/Vanilla striped ribbon. Do you have favorite ribbon that you just can’t let go?
