Happy Valenversary!

By | February 13, 2021

I guess I lied about making the last valentine card yesterday! I had one more to make and the most important one of all.

When David proposed in 1992, we decided that I could pick the day and he would pick the place. I picked Valentine’s Day and he picked the Loveland Ski Resort. So we were married at Lift#2 at a small cabin nearby. Since it was at the top of the lift, everyone had to ski down the hill after the ceremony – even the pastor!

For the background, I used the retired Christmastime Designer Series Paper. The hearts are Gold Foil die cut with one of the hearts from the Stitched Be Mine Dies. The Foam Adhesive Sheet was used to pop up the hearts.

Since the hearts were mounted on our foam sheets, I could not layer one on top of the other. So I cut the left top portion of the heart with the Paper Snips and then added the two pieces to the 1st heart as shown in the below picture. I hope that makes sense – If not, shoot me an e-mail!

The sentiment is from the Love You Always Stamp Set. It was stamped with Versamark Ink on Cherry Cobbler Cardstock and set with our Stampin’ Gold Emboss Powder and the Heat Tool. It was then die cut with the Curvy Dies.

Thanks for stopping by today – enjoy your weekend!
