This card is for my youngest daughter. As you can see by the previous card (which I made a couple of days ago), the two girls are complete opposites.
I want to wish everyone a Happy Mother's Day and hope everyone enjoys this day. We plan to go out for brunch to Copeland's.
I received this from my friend Jane and thought I would share it with you:
Mothers
Real mothers don't eat quiche; they don't have time to make it.
Real mothers know that their kitchen utensils are probably in the sandbox
Real mothers often have sticky floors, filthy ovens and happy kids
Real mothers know that dried play dough doesn't come out of carpets
Real mothers don't want to know what the vacuum just sucked up
Real mothers sometimes ask "why me?" and get their answer when a little voice says, "because I love you best."
Real mothers know that a child's growth is not measured by height or years or grade. It is marked by the progression of mommy to mom to mother!
Hi Rachel! Just catching up after my trip!
Both cards for your daughters are just beautiful! Yes, they are different! I like the idea of the computer generated sentiment. I was just shopping for sentiment stamps and maybe I need to look closer to home on my laptop instead!
Hope you had a fabulous Mother’s Day!
Beautiful card! I love that little girl image and the bp and colors are great! Thanks for sharing that wonderful saying about Mothers. Hope you had a great day!
WOW you just color so beautifully! I really like how the whole card is put together. All the elements are great together.
Good job!
Happy blogoversary!
Beautiful card Rachel, she must have loved it!
Hope you had a wonderful Mother’s Day 🙂
Adorable card. I hope you had a great Mother’s Day.
This card is very cute. And I love the Mother poem!
