Today’s card features a digital masculine stamp in creating it to celebrate my awesome grandson, Troy.

I love making cards for the ones I love because I try to customize them as much as possible even if it includes using non SU products.

The image and sentiment were printed out on a computer. The background was sponged with Night of Navy Ink using a Blending Brush and a stencil.

I added a strip of In Good Taste Designer Series Paper and a strip of Washi Tape. The background also included a strip of the same DSP and Smoky Slate Cardstock mounted on Basic White Thick Cardstock (base card).

This is the inside of the card. When I was trying to print out the inside, the printer jammed. It took about 30 minutes to unjam. Reason? I had taped the Stitched Rectangle Die to the cardstock. Either I thought I was die cutting the cardstock or I lost my mind! Have you ever done anything close to this ridiculous in crafting?

Thanks for stopping by today – have a great weekend!

such a special card, rachel! i know he’ll cherish it! i think we’ve all made mistakes like you described – and we’re glad they turned out ok!
Thanks Kathy. I hope he likes it.
