It’s Monday and that means it’ time for a masculine card. For today’s post, I’m using a digital image and it’s for my grandson, Tanner’s, birthday. He’s going to be 27 years old – I can’t believe how fast time flies. And, of course, I had to get into my favorite stash of paper for masculine cards!
The DSP I used for the background is called Plaid Tidings 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper and I absolutely love it for masculine cards. I’m looking for more of this paper so if you have some, and are willing to part with it, send me an e-mail! I’ll be more than happy to take it off your hands.
I used the following Stampin’ Blends to color the image:
- Soft Suede for the hair
- Smoky Slate for the jacket
- Misty Moonlight for the jeans
- Nude Stampin’ Blendabilites for the skin
The ribbon is from the Playing with Patterns Ribbon Combo Pack.
Thanks for stopping by today! See you on Wednesday.
I love your card for Tanner’s birthday, Rachel. Great job! He’ll be thrilled to receive it. Enjoy your day!
Thank you Hilda. I’m glad you liked it. I was happy with it – you know it’s so hard to make cards for young adults, especially guys!
Thanks again!
