Today’s card features the gorgeous Awash in Beauty Designer Series Paper. These double-sided sheets feature floral images that appear to be hand-painted in stunning watercolor hues.
If you love fussy cutting then this card is for you! Using our Paper Snips, I cut one of the large floral images from the DSP.
Here’s what I did:
- Base card: Balmy Blue Cardstock
- Background panel: Basic White Cardstock embossed with the Old World Paper 3D Embossing Folder
- Next layer: Basic White Cardstock die cut with the largest die from the Layering Ovals Dies
- Green pattern from DSP: punch out two leaves with the Bough Punch
- Colored the white ribbon with the Light Balmy Blue Stampin’ Blends (ribbon from Flowers for Every Season)
Assembling the Card:
- Base card: Balmy Blue
- Layer 1: Basic White Embossed Cardstock
- Layer 2: Oval Basic White Cardstock
- Add ribbon in a zig-zag pattern to oval
- Attach large floral image
- Adhere leaves (see card for placement)
- Add rhinestones from the Rhinestone Waves Basic Jewels
Inside of card:
- Happy Birthday from Celebrating You Stamp Set
- Stamp off flowers from the Cottage Rose Stamp Set using So Saffron Ink.
Thanks for stopping by today – have a great 🐪 day!
