Hi Stampers!
I love the gorgeously life-like flowers in our Happiness Shared Stamp Set and decided to use it with the First Edition Designer Series Paper and the retiring Love Letter Designer Series Paper. I also included the retired Raven Lace Trim and Black Flourish Designer Jewels from the Holiday Mini Catalog.
The floral image from the Happiness Shared Stamp Set was stamped with Versamark on the First Edition DSP. I then added Black Stampin' Emboss Powder and set it with the Heat Tool. The image was then colored in using the Riding Hood Red Stampin' Write Marker and the Old Olive Stampin' Write Marker.
I used a strip of Riding Hood Red Card Stock that was punched with the Eyelet Border Punch and then adhered to the bottom of the card. The strip had already been embossed with the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder and was left over from another project. I tied a bow using the retired Raven Black Lace.
If you noticed, I tore the edges of the First Edition DSP to give it a decorative look before adhering to the card. The edges on the upper right and lower left were turned up slightly. Three Black Designer Jewels were added to the right of the focal image. The base card is Confetti Cream Card Stock.
I love the way this turned out. It's refreshing after making so many light airy flowery summery cards! What do you think?
Thanks for stopping by today!
