Hi Stampers
I could not let Halloween go by without using the Greeting Card Kids Stamp Set: I'm usually not a cutesy type of person, but these images are adorable. The cutesy images in this set seem to jump right off the pages of vintage storybooks.
The base is Rich Razzleberry Card Stock which was fed through the Scallop Circle Bigz Die. The image was stamped with Basic Black Classic Ink and then colored in using a blender pen and various inks. I like using the blender pens for a darker watercolor effect. The tip cleans off with just a couple of strokes which means I can use the same blender pen with all the different ink pads.
I added the Rich Razzleberry 3/8" Taffeta Ribbon for a touch of elegance and the Black Flourish Designer Jewels for a little bit of glitz! What's a girl without glitz!
Well, gotta get back to preparing the card stock for our "Cards for the Troops" event on Saturday 2 October 2010. I have to cut card stock for 500 cards!!!
