Hope you had a wonderful 4th of July. We had a nice and quiet weekend.
Today's card is for my newest downline, Kelli from Hawaii. A very big welcome to Kelli from the Aloha state!
Isn't the paper gorgeous? All of the Stampin' Up! designer series papers are absolutely beautiful and they make it so easy to create a card with coordinating background card stock. In this case I used Chocolate Chip and Baja Breeze. This paper also coordinates with Friends Never Fade stamp set. My newest go to stamp set! The sentiment is from Occasional Quotes, a Level 3 Hostess Stamp Set. You always have something important to say to loved ones with the greetings and quotes in this set.
I added Real Red 1/4" grosgrain ribbon which is a quick and inexpensive embellishment and matches the real red whimsical button. The Baja Breeze card stock which is under the ribbon was punched on both borders with the decorative Scallop Trim Border Punch.
