Good-bye Bravo Burgundy

By | April 10, 2013

Hi Stampin' Friends

Bravo Burgundy is one of the retiring colors but I won't miss it as much as Baja Breeze!  I just didn't use it very much.  Why about you – do you have colors in your stash that you don't use very much or even use at all?

Create vibrant, lovely floral scapes with this gorgeous six-piece Fabulous Florets Clear Mount Stamp Set. The versatile images work well with just about any sentiment in your stamp set collection.

I tried several different kinds of techniques for this card.

Sample-1

Didn't like this after all – Very Vanilla Craft Ink and Very Vanilla Embossing Powder on Bravo Burgundy Card Stock.

Sample-2

Didn't like this one either.  Bravo Burgundy Classic Ink on Naturals Ivory Card Stock.

The first card turned out to be the best one.  I only made the card once, the different flowers were cut out with Paper Snips and then temporarily glued to the card.

I used the Cherry Cobbler Scalloped Dots ribbon because it matched – in fact, I thought it was Bravo Burgundy as first!  The pattern paper is from the Regals Collection Designer Series Paper Patterns Stack.  The Always Artichoke Button is from the Regals Collection Designer Buttons.
