Give a man a fish……

By | May 24, 2009

Hope everyone is enjoying this 3 day weekend.  The weather in our area is beautiful so you can believe I am making the most out of this holiday.  If you have a chance, hop on over the Cards for Hereos and participate in their blog hop.  It's for a very worthy cause – cards for our troops – it can't get any more worthy than that.  I'm listed on the right side of the blog under Stamping by Rachel.

Today's card includes a digital stamp from Victoria Case.  I decided to use Main Blueberry Designer Series Paper (retired) with this card.  The paper retired about a year ago but I have so much left!  Sometimes I get carried away and will buy 2 and 3 packs of paper if I happen to like the pattern.

It is a very cute card!

I do the same thing with the paper. The papers released in January have been some of my favorites thus far. I really need to use them up before I can purchase more in July!

Very cute card. Love the title you used. I do the same thing with paper. I think I ended up with 5 packs of the sellabrations paper this year and have seriously stocked up on SU paper since the end of the catalog is almost upon us.

I have no idea what you mean about getting carried away with paper! LOL I have actually been selling my multiple unopened packs on SCS to people in the ISO forum. I am trying to get better, but is more fun to be bad!

Your stash certainly paid off in this card! It is just perfect for a fishing card!

This is a great card! I love the image. I’m the same way with buying too much of a paper I love. Then I’m left wondering what to do with all of it 🙂 I’ve made myself stop doing that!

I LOVE that image!!! That is some great paper, I didn’t buy that pack, but looking at it here, I should have. You’re not alone, though, I have 4 packs of Bella Rose, 3 are unopened, and I have already gone through one pack. Sometimes it’s a paper you just have to have, and go overboard. This card is just great!
