Hi Stampin’ Friends
Sorry I’ve been MIA the last couple of days but I’ve been really busy trying to get ready for convention. Today’s card features the core-dinations card stock which you saw demonstrated on Sunday’s video.
The card stock is awesome! It’s sandable cardstock for an antiqued, distressed, color-popping look. Outside layers are exclusive Stampin’ Up! colors—one side textured, one side smooth. Inside layer monochromatic color. You can reveal the inside layer by sanding, tearing, distressing as shown in the photo above.
I never, ever adhere my buttons to the cards with a mini glue dot or dimensionals anymore because they always fall off! What I do is stitch them right to the card and then tie a knot in the back (see picture above). I learned this lesson the hard way. I had given a friend a card at her birthday party and while she was looking at it, the button fell off! Of course, everyone laughed!
