Gift of Love

From the SU Blog – this is such a cute project! ~~ Rachel

What can be more special than giving a uniquely packaged gift to someone just because you love them?

I used the Gift Card Enclosure Pack not for a gift card but for a gift package to hold a little piece of jewelry for a friend who just needed some encouragement.

To create the belly band, cut a 3″ x 9″ piece of Gold Fancy Foil Designer Series Vellum (hearts) and wrap it loosely around the folded enclosure. (Use Fast Fuse to securely adhere the back.) And remember: the belly band slides off, so be sure not to adhere it to the Gift Card Enclosure!

I inked the Love Who You Are image using Night of Navy and Crisp Cantaloupe Stampin’ Write Markers and stamped on Whisper White Cardstock.

The Chalk Talk Framelits Dies are perfect for a quick tag anytime. I added some Crisp Cantaloupe Thick Baker’s Twine and NEW Gold 1/8″ Ribbon to my tag to create a fun bow. And hearts made using the NEW Gold Glimmer Paper and the heart punch from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack add just the right amount of sparkle. Did you notice the wooden Clothespin? I colored it on one side using the Night of Navy Stampin’ Write Marker. Be sure to let it dry completely before using!

The inside is just as special! I made a 3-1/2″ x 3-1/2″ envelope to hold the arrow necklace using the Gold Fancy Foil Designer Series Vellum and the Envelope Punch Board. I secured it using the striped Crisp Cantaloupe washi tape from the Sweet Sadie Designer Washi Tape, then finished it off with a heart embellishment that I punched from Night of Navy Cardstock.

Be sure to purchase the Gift Card Enclosure Pack with your next Stampin’ Up! order. You never know when it’ll come in handy. And sometimes a little gift can be just what a good friend needs to know they are loved!
