For today’s card, I decided to combine our new Hexagon Hives Thinlits Die with the vintage Paper Lace. How’s that for an eclectic look? The paper lace peeking out between the Hexagon Hive die cuts makes for such an interesting look to the card.
The flowers are from the Petite Petals Stamp Set. I embossed them with Clear Stampin’ Emboss Powder to give them a deeper richer color. The sentiment is from the Blooming with Kindness Stamp Set.
Note: After stamping each flower with Primrose Petals, Raspberry Ripple and Old Olive Classic Ink, I applied the Versamark Ink pad directly to the card stock. It didn’t matter that I got Versamark all over the card stock because I was punching out the flowers anyway and it saved from having to apply Versamark to each flower.
