Gather Together

By | October 21, 2020

Welcome to InKing Royalty’s October Blog Hop! During this year’s blog hops, we are enjoying a year of celebrations. This month’s projects celebrate Thanksgiving, so prepare yourself for Autumn landscapes, warm colors and sweet reminders of all the reasons we have to be grateful this time of year. We are excited to share our creations with you today! After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.

For the October Blog Shop, I selected the Gather Together Stamp Set and used the greeting from the Country Home Stamp Set.

Card Measurements:

  • Base Card (Very Vanilla) 11″ x 4 1/4″, fold in half
  • Background (Come to Gather DSP) 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″
  • Label (Very Vanilla) 5″ x 4″
  • Scrap of Very Vanilla Cardstock for leaves
  • Mini Curvy Keepsake Box (Come to Gather DSP) 6″ x 6″
  • Scrap of Very Vanilla Cardstock for greeting on box

The pumpkin images were stamped with Cajun Craze Ink on Very Vanilla Cardstock. They were then colored in using the Stampin’ Blends in colors of Pumpkin Pie and Cajun Craze. The greeting was stamped with Soft Suede Ink and then die cut using the Ornate Layers Dies. The leaves were created by sponging the piece of Very Vanilla Cardstock with Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive and Cherry Cobbler Inks. Die cut the Cardstock using the leaves dies from the Gather Leaves Dies.

I used the retired Come to Gather Designer Series Paper to make the Mini-Curvy Keepsake Box. Added a label from the same set of dies and then stamped a greeting from the Country Home Stamp Set. Tied a bow with a retired Stampin’ Up! ribbon.

Thank you for stopping by today.  I hope you’ll hop along to the next stop on the blog hop, Ann Murry at Murry Stamp Ink. There’s lots of inspiration to be found in this group – and you don’t want to miss it!

Thanks Lynn. I keep forgetting I have that die – need to pull it out more often.

Pam – thank you! It took a couple of tries and messy fingers, but I finally got the look I wanted.

Thanks Sheryl. I’ve liked it since it first came out through I did not like the coordinate stamp set.
