It’s Friday and time for a Fun Fold Card! For today’s projects, I’m using the gorgeous pattern paper from the retiring Peony Garden Designer Series Paper.
Before I go into today’s card, I want to show you a mistake I made when not paying close attention to the details on the diagram. I tested the scoring and cutting of this fun fold with the printer paper and thought I was ready to make the final product. When I started scoring on the Simply Scoring Tool, I should have laid the cardstock horizontally (longest side) instead of the other way. The below card measure 8 1/4″ includes tall – it should measure 5 1/2″ tall.
So I started again, except this time I used Basic White Thick Cardstock Cardstock. The focus is on the DSP so I colored in one of the peonies from the paper with Stampin’ Blends instead of using the Prized Peony Stamp Set.
This paper has images of peonies from bud to bloom, as well as all-occasion designs in subtle colors. Too bad this gorgeous paper will be retiring soon.
