Despite having dilated pupils from my eye appointment this morning, which made it difficult to see clearly, I managed to create this card and I’m happy with the results.”
The card showcases the Thankful Garden Bundle and lovely techniques like using the Thankful Garden Decorative Masks, dimensional die-cutting, layered patterned papers, embossed frames, and decorative ribbon accents.
This handmade greeting card features a beautiful layered design with a floral theme in Fresh Freesia and Garden Green tones. The card uses patterned paper (Lovely Garden Designer Series Paper DSP))as the background, showing delicate Fresh Freesia flowers with Garden Green leaves on a blue and white backdrop. A Garden Green Cardstock border frames the entire card, creating a neat, finished edge.
The centerpiece of the card is a white embossed rectangular frame (Mini Corrugated 3D Embossing Folder) that creates dimension and depth. Inside this frame, two large Fresh Freesia flowers are die-cut and layered on top, appearing to pop off the surface. The flowers have detailed petals in varying shades of Fresh Freesia, with Garden Green leaves that complement the overall color scheme. Small decorative pearl accents (Tinsel Gems Three Pack) are placed around the frame to add subtle sparkle.
A delicate Fresh Freesia ribbon is tied in a bow and positioned on the lower portion of the frame, adding a soft finishing touch. The overall effect is elegant and feminine, perfect for occasions like birthdays, Mother’s Day, or simply to brighten someone’s day.
On the left side is the inside of the greeting card, which features a clean white interior with a sentiment (Special Moments Stamp Set) and a small decorative leaf element positioned in the lower right corner. On the right side is the envelope, specifically showing the back flap which has been decorated with the matching floral DSP. This coordinating detail creates a unified, professional look to the entire card set.
