That is exactly how I am feeling. Now that summer is gone, I miss it! How’s that for being fickle! Pulled out this retired stamp set to make a beachy kind of card in a new size I haven’t done before – 4 1/8″ x 3 3/4″. It only turned out that way because I messed up the edges of the 4″ x 5 1/4″ watercolor paper and I still wanted to use it. Hence the unusual size of the card. And because of the size, I made an envelope for it!
I stamped the image with Early Espresso (stamped off) for the truck and Garden Green for the leaves.
I used the following colors with the Water Painter:
- Balmy Blue for the sky
- Pool Party for the water
- Crumb Cake for the sand and distance hills.
The sentiment was stamped with Tuxedo Black directly on the front panel.
I used the Deckled Rectangle Dies for the front panel and 1st layer (DSP). Sorry but I only had a small sheet of the DSP and I cannot remember the name.
This is the inside of the card. I stamped the image with Early Espresso (stamped off) for the trunk and Garden Green for the leaves.
The envelope I created for the above card. Didn’t really use a template – just guessed on the measurements. The white label is for the address.
