I decided to go with a simple yet elegant card for today’s project using this gorgeous stamp set. Since I didn’t have my markers nor blends yet, I used the ink pads and a watercolor brush to color in the flower and leaves. Though I do have the current Water Painters, I sometimes use the retired watercolor brushes from Stampin’ Up!. It makes me feel like a “real” watercolor artist!
I used the following colors:
- Sweet Sorbet for the flower
- Parakeet Party for the leaves
- Daffodil Delight for the middle of the flower and the sprigs.
- Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker for the frame around the flower
I didn’t realize that my mat matched the Parakeet Party color until after I took the picture and was editing it😊
